Bhutada We are eager for our upcoming event MPF BCL 2017 27-28th May 2017 - Box Cricket League Matches 21st May 2017 - MPF Sports Day(Carrom, Chess, Table Tennis, Badminton) Spirituality ...By Mrs.Shruti Vimal Karnani The three pillars of spirituality for me are Thoughts, Words and Conduct . I want to share this through a short story, which I had heard many years back . Vishu was barely an eight year old boy, his father had not received his salary for nearly five months, as he had taken up a new job which was closer to home, his previous job was in an another city and he was home sick and was not happy without his family. Five months is however a long time, he was running out of his savings, his wife had mortgaged all her jewelry except her mangalsutra. Soon the electricity was cut off,the kitchen was getting empty, looking at all this he decided to join a new location but this would only happen in the next month. The next day was a saturday and his family was invited for a Sunderkand Paath. Vishn's parents did not want to go as they had nothing to offer in the Puja plate. Vishu and his elder brother decided to go, do the paath and then have the tasty prasad. As they were walking a man on a scooter just zoomed by them, something dropped from his pocket, it was his purse ,they picked it up and ran a bit to return it,but the person had gone far, they waited a few minutes but he dint return. They were getting late so the quickly went for the sunderkand, joined in it joyfully and had the tasty prasad. While retuning they opened the purse and saw Rs.2000 in it ,they dint know what to do, they instantly remembered the poverty they were going through, they quickly went to a store close by and brought few kilos of rice and salt ,they thought it will last them long, they will not have to sleep hungry, till the father gets some money. As they reached home the told the parents about the incident, they said you both should have not spent the money, but the boys said mother we can't see you and dad hungry everyday, so we took this as Gods gift, the mother cried tears of gratitude and was happy that her family will not sleep hungry today. Next day the family's prayers were answered the employer gave Vishnu's fathers salary and paid him some compensation for the delay also. He went home and before spending any money he put it in his home temple and prayed to the lord just like he had received a jackpot. He called Vishu and his elder son and gave them 2000 Rs from it and told them to go and put this in the temple donation box, with tears in his eyes he said God helped us when we needed it now we must return it. The one who leads a life of honesty is never outside the grace of God. Faith and sincerity are very important in the journey of life. The most beautiful part of the story is Vishnu's father returning the money through the hands of his children. Add up to your good deeds, a tiny act of kindness here an there, a gesture of affection, a uttered word of compassion, some help you can extend to someone are some of the forms of spirituality accordingly to me . Spirituality ...By Mrs. Anjali Sachin Miniyar । Spirituality ... By Dr. Vrishali Bharat Somani Being with one's own spirit is spirituality. Its main focus is to promote an individual's personal experience with God (within one's own self). Spirituality is a philosophy, science and art.......the 'Art of Awareness' Awareness is the state of constant connection of a person with the surroundings. Benefits :
You have to be aware to capture a look of your long lost friend who is passing by you on street. You will miss all of them if you are walking down all the way listening to the thoughts of your mind. This is what happens to people a lot of time. They hypnotize themselves by listening to the thoughts in their head, and hence they are not aware of anything around them. Spiritualism doesn't just mean to abandon the materialistic life and seek into the no man places like Himalayas or jungles but it can also be achieved by anyone in their day to day chores without leaving the 'bhautik sukhas' Exercises : The art of awareness, though not easy to, but can be inculcated by few 'being mindful techniques' like
"What can I hear that I love" " What do I smell that I love" When you ask your mind the questions, the mind can't help itself but to give you the answers. It has to stop other thoughts immediately so as to come up with your answers. This way you are driver of your mind! "The mind acts as enemy for those who don't control it." .... Bhagwat Geeta It doesn't take long to train your mind to focus on your own spirit (awareness), and once you have just watch what happens to your LIFE! Spirituality ... By Mrs. Preeti Yogesh Bhutada "Akelaapan" v/s "Aikaant" from the Gita *'अकेलापन'* इस संसार में सबसे बड़ी सज़ा है.! Spirituality ... By Mrs. Priyanka Kumar Kabra Spirituality!! Ohh, that’s a heavy word! I had many elucidations of it, but didn’t know whether my thoughts made sense. Like always, Google gave me succour. To my astonishment, even it had sundry definitions. It was then, I decided to let myself be original and cling to my thoughts. In the process, I deciphered that spirituality is a very subjective topic. To each, it’s own! Technically, spiritual is derived from Latin word ‘spiritualis’. It means ‘concerning the spirit’. Here, the spirit can signify soul, breath, vigor or courage. For me, if I had to append all these in two words, it would be FAITH and LOVE! They are all elements that aid to reach the ultimate pinnacle – GOD through faith and love. If we go into the history and depth of spirituality, I surmise it will take coon’s age to finish the article. So, keeping the crux in mind, I pen down my seat of affections. According to my concept, a person who has faith is a person who is spiritual. One not being religious or not going to the temple will not abide him/her from being spiritual. As Anthony Douglas Williams has rightly quoted, “Spirituality does not come from religion, it comes from the soul”. Also, we all have learnt since childhood God is omnipresent. And yes, he is! Thus, why a special venue to meet him? Now, the question arises on how can one create that connection with Almighty? The answer is through spirituality – the faith and using the path of meditation. Meditation acts as a catalyst that sparks extraordinary results. Spirituality reinforces us to uplift ourselves. It assists us in making aware of the things, surroundings and environment around us. Indispensably, it makes us aware about our self and this is the biggest and arduous revelation. Once we are acquainted of what concoction we are made up of, the world is our oyster! We have one life, let us make it large!! Let us all come together and ensuingly make the world a better place to live in. Lastly, I want to quote this popular adage: “Faith is like a wi-fi, it’s invisible but it has the power to connect you to what you need”. Spirituality … ! - By Shri Anand M. Bhutada I think Spirit & spirituality is a combination of all seven colors including light & dark shades of nature. Just want to specify that spirituality is a fact that is to be accepted without comparing. In nature cycle we can see that all seasons i.e. Summer, Winter, Monsoon are equally important. Every shade is having its own significance. Important is to treat everything such that it is a gift from god. This is nothing but spirituality. The feelings while to serve any living should remain as service to god, then only it would be called spiritual. I remember one nice phrase here “शिवभावे जीवसेवा ” It clearly says that service given for only & only fulfillment of needy person will always be much brighter than given for name & fame. So instead of donation of various factors like food, clothes, money etc. better will be to donate whatever concerned person needs at that time. To fulfill his need at our best & forget it is the only spirituality. If we observe the journey we will realize that first of all - thought arises, then accordingly situation is created & finally actual activity / job is performed. So we can say that thought is the seed for every activity. Then for seed to reap, needed is peaceful mind in the form of soil. Essential is only that seed should be certified from respective authority means our thought should be approved one. Here question arises that who will approve this? It’s very simple. Already our bright guru parampara have made this job easy for us. In every dharma grantha all approved 24 carat seeds are clearly mentioned. Essential is to accept them & acceptance should be on basis of science and not on the basis of our available knowledge. I think the person who has this tripod of: Acceptance of thought + peaceful mind + ability to act = Spiritual. As Swami Vivekananda always use to say “One life one mission” ……simply like that, one of the seed in the form of thought if accepted from bottom of our heart can frame our life in to a mission & that will be the only spirituality. If we make a habit to care & respect each & every small & big factor of nature & find happiness to serve them I think spirituality would not be anything more than this. It is the only thing to accept & shake hand with the rules of nature. Guru always say that when you run behind money or any other materialistic comfort, keep in mind that when soul will leave this body everything will remain here. Money & property will remain at its own place. Relatives will accompany only till the last rites are performed on chitah . Body made up of five elements will be handovered to fire & then........ Who is going to accompany you?? Answer is only & only your karma will accompany you. So to make good karma with no expectations will be the only spirituality as our lord says, अनन्याश्चिन्तयन्तो माां ये जना: पययुपासते | तेषाां ननत्याभिययक्तानाां योगशेम वहाम्यहम् || meaning, with single-pointed meditation, those who are constantly engaged in my worship, I carry the burden of acquisition & preservation of their needs. Also the refreshment lunch, high tea was arranged to meet the hunger of all attended during the tournament day. Last BoD meeting at Wet n JoyYou all have seen our directors in various Avatars, mostly in formal and traditional, but this time it was completely different. Yes... the directors enjoy too. This time, since it was our last BoD meeting, we all decided to have something different. So instead of having the meeting at any one of our houses, we reached directly to Wet N Joy water park, Lonavala along with our families. It was fun packed, mastibhara event where we all enjoyed to the core. Special thanks to Bharatji Somani for making the arrangements. The masti was followed by Chai Pakora at Thanda Mamla where we discussed the BoD affairs over chai and kanda bhaji. Kids too enjoyed a lot. Another special thanks to Manojji Baldawa for capturing these beautiful moments which we will cherish throughout our life as we take your permission and thank our whole MPF family for standing with us throughout the year. Treasurer's DeskIt gives me great joy to share my thoughts in this edition of the MPF-Link. If considered otherwise, the role of a treasurer is mundane – account for the membership fees, prepare budget and allocate the funds across all the events. But, what pumps up the funds are the sponsorships and the savings done by conducting events prudently. And some good examples of smart fund management are events like Mahesh Gaurav & Global Community Project that were able to spare from the allocated budget; which in turn, were used by other projects. Believe me, it is not for money that anyone of us is here for. The real motivation and excitement is playing the game and living the events. The MPF members are striving hard to give 'better than before' experiences with every event. To enhance the socializing experiences for the in-house events, raising the membership fees was considered as a wise solution in the AGM. I would like to place on record my sincere thanks to all my BOD members for their unstinted support & guidance during the year. Also My thanks to all the members of Mahesh Professional Forum for their help to maintain the highest standards of the Organization. Looking ahead for a rocking 2017-18, MPF Treasurer (2016-17) CA Amol Marda Diwali Snehmilan
Picnic - Camp Night
AGMIt is rightly said that change is the only thing which is permanent in nature. Based on this philosophy of change and based on the initiative of ‘Digital India’ undertaken by Hon. Prime Minister of India Shri. Narendraji Modi(MeraDeshBadalRaha Hai, AageBadhRaha Hai), we in MPF made change from physical form to e-form / paperless wherever possible. Few examples relating to AGM are: - It was for the first time, we took Feedback & Suggestions from Members for betterment of our MPF through online form and there was very good response for the same. - It was for the first time, we took voting through the portal and due to the response & support of all members we could achieve a record of 83.44% voting (highest ever, so far in the history of MPF). - It was for the first time, formal event like AGM was clubbed with an informal event like Picnic and it was great success. Credit goes to Picnic Director Shri. Jayeshji Kalantri and entire Picnic & AGM Team. - It was for the first time, the event was organised for 2 days and 1 night stay at YMCA, Nilshi and with the help of support of all members who attended, witnessed and made the event more successful. Glimpse of AGM especially for those who could not attend AGM due to some reason: - Treasurer CA. Amolji Marda presented report for FY 2016-17 and the same was approved by all the members. - Feedback and Suggestions received from members were briefed by the Feedback & Suggestion Committee Chairman CA. Vimalji Karnani. - Felicitation of MPF members on their special achievements was also done during AGM. - Voting results of nomination committee were declared and the same followed by felicitation of newly elected committee. Details of the nomination committee are as under: 1. Mr. Rameshji Toshniwal 2. Mr. Omprakashji Marda 3. Dr.Navaniitji Mandhaani 4. Mr. Shrikantji Bangad 5. CA. Gopalji Jaju 6. CA. Ashishji Bihani 7. https://www.facebook.com/maheshprofessionalforumpuneSecretory's Desk It gives me immense pleasure to communicate to all of you in the most favorite month, that is the festivals through MPF link. The beginning of the year was so exciting due to the huge response of new membership. As a result for we had to restrict the number of members. Really feeling proud to have a family of 169 members. Fitness is always a concern for professionals and what should be better way to show our endurance competing sports. BCL was the attempt to take this and as a result right from team formation to the final match , we are to find great team bonding and energy level . Secondly we had to say no for audience about availability of passes of ‘DISHA’programme. It was really a great feeling to admit that we justified the title of programme ‘DISHA’ by the wisdom of Shri Deepak Shinde. Under the visionary leadership of Shrikantji Bhutada and Pavanji Chandak, this year we are able to put some bench mark to the gift of Education Programmes in terms of Donations and quality of entertainment. How are we able convert our mental fitness into physical fitness, this was provided with the most entertaining ‘Zumba dance’. The enthusiastic team of Bharat Ladhe was able to put each and everyone on their feet for the Zumba dance. This took place on Sunday morning which was history for many of us. Dear friend the ultimate purpose of involving most of the members in each and every event is To create a bonding among ourselves and to develop leadership qualities .Your support to this is always an encouragement to initiate new ideas. Last but not the least my sincere thanks to the IT team under the leadership of Sujitji Jaju for creating virtual awareness about MPF. "Coming together is the beginning , working together is progress and keeping together is success. Because relationships with nice people is like sugar cane You can break it , crush it , squeeze it , even bite it or grind it still you will give only sweetness." DR. Member's CornerMission Admission!
#NEP #admission #eligibilitycriteriaforadmissions
Currently the National Education Policy (NEP) exists for primary onwards education only. However, they miss on the entry point. In most of the schools, all over India, the admission is possible only in kindergarten or nursery and not at the primary level. By excluding the pre-primary education from the purview of the NEP, the current system entirely ignores how a child is admitted into this education system. The Central Government has given a freehand to the States on many aspects and States in turn have passed on the discretionary powers to the schools. Schools are exploiting these powers to the best extent. They hit us at the right point – the weak point! As parents, we want to give the best education to our kids. Now best education itself underlines the fact that education is not uniform and so is the admission process! The varying eligibility criteria along with other challenges make the entire process gruesome. Firstly, every school has got a different date to issue admission forms. Some start as early as September whereas some are assured to get admissions even after issuing forms in January or February in the consequent session. Parents need to be great hedgers – hedge the risk of missing the admission to the most desired school! Secondly, schools have no uniform age and other eligibility criteria. Some take in kids at 3.5 whereas others deny! As parents we are completely confused of what the right age is. This disparity gets prominent in the higher classes and is problematic for students like those whose parents have got transferable jobs. Such divergent criteria turns the admission process into a nightmare for the parents. Thirdly, getting the admission form is even more a tedious process. Parents have to line up for as many as 2-3 days and nights to only procure the admission form. Well, why can't they be easily issued over the counter at a commonplace? And the best part is who do not burn their calories at all get through management quota. Now, management quota at pre-primary level is ridiculously freaking! These problems are commonly faced by parents and I am sure you might have also faced one! For those who have not yet, watch out! There are many good things and may be even worse things than mentioned here in the current system of education. But given the current admission process at the ground level, it is an earnest request to cover them under the broad framework of the current NEP. This should go a long way in helping both the children and the parents. President's Desk Jai Shri Krishna!!! First of all let me thank all of you for the continuous faith shown in me year after year. I started my journey in MPF seven years back. After working in different committees you have given me responsibility of being Director then Chairman of Nomination Committee then President Elect and now as President. I had mentioned on the day of Aashirwad Samaroh “Aap Sab Ka Saath, MPF ka Vikas” and you all MPF family members have literally given full Saath (Support) in each endeavor, be it Box Cricket League or Zumbathon or Disha or last minute planned Tree Plantation. You all have been so passionate whether its sports or health or direction giving motivation session. With the overwhelmed participation in tree plantation you have proven how socially committed we are. We all will again prove our social commitment through our Gift of Education Project. BOD is also planning to have blood donation camp in near future. I am whole heartedly thankful to the nomination committee and it’s Chairman for giving us the best of Directors who all are maintaining the spirit at very high level. As success of any event is dependent on your support, I am fully assured that you all will make all the upcoming events immensely successful and enjoyable. It’s right to define TEAM as Together Each Achieves More and we will continue our teamwork. Keep me guiding with your feedback and suggestions. With Warm Regards to all and wishing lovely month of Sawan ahead. Jai Mahesh CA. Anand R. Jakhotiya Aashirwad Samaroh 2016

Treasurer's DeskFriends, My association with MPF have been since its inception and I have seen it evolving from a five member group to 250 members’ group. I feel fortunate to have been chosen to be the Treasurer this year for such a wonderful organization. This year we were able to collect all membership cheques by 30th June, 2015. This helped me to plan the financial side of each program by allocating the budget much in advance and I congratulate all the Directors for doing each program within the given Budget. None of us can do anything alone and I am no exception. My committee members, the entire Board of Directors and the Trustees of MFCT, with their supportive hands and attitude, have helped me whole heartedly. I am deeply thankful to all of them. I also thank Engg. Bharat ji Somani and his entire team for the wonderful MPF Link, the e-magazine. Wishing you all a Very Happy and Prosperous New Year 2016. CA. Member's CornerYOUNG GENERATION - A BLESSING OR A THREAT
On several occasions we, as parents, hear or discuss about our growing next generation. We usually come across two different opinions about the young generation. One is that they are extra ordinary, they are living in information technology era, they are well equipped with the various new era gadgets. The other and more discussed opinion is that the young generation is spoilt, they are very casual, no seriousness, arrogance etc. Actually there can be a very big debate on this issue which is very much relevant for all of us. With due respect to both the opinions quoted above, I would like to present my views on this burning issue. My views are based on my general observations and personal experiences which I had while dealing with the students. Are we really treating our children the same way we are brought up by our parents? Are parents showing the children the right path so that they will be blessing for us? Just think of these critical questions before forming your own opinion on the budding generation. We normally see a tendency where parents think that I didn’t get this in my childhood so my kids should surely get those things. We, the new generation parents, normally try to fulfill all the demands of our kids. But at the same time we comfortably ignore the actual necessity of what our kids should get at that point of time. I completely agree that mobile phones have become necessity in our day to day life. Mobile phones really help us to keep in contact with our children wherever they are. But the basic question is what the proper age to give mobile to kids is? Even if we settle on this question the next important question is which mobile should we offer to children? Is always a smart phone justifiable? Even a normal handset having the basic feature of a phone can suffice our purpose. Our kids are provided with everything that they desire and demand. One another example can be of vehicle. Like this we can talk of n number of demands which unfortunately parents are fulfilling without understanding their long term ill effects on young generation. The youngsters today find it very difficult to accept ‘no’ for any of their requirements. If they are habituated since their childhood to get only those things which they really need, then they will also demand only those things which are really useful for them. I feel the young generation is not spoilt, they are not casual. If we explain them what is right and what is wrong, then they can do miracles. Let us teach them that they become good human beings well equipped with knowledge, resources and most importantly with values. Since we are living in IT era, let us dream with our next generation that we will see a fully developed India with the optimum utilization of talent, brilliance and energy of our children. Let us try to make them very strong pillars to uplift our family, society and overall humanity. Khaaike paan banaraswala?
Talking about Swachh Bharat Abhiyaan (SBA), this is one area the government must also include in its list to improve the sanitization in the environment. In fact, I have read about the fund shortage for the SBA mission. Do we expect any kind of endowment or special kind of charity towards this? Not sure. But there is a prospective revenue model ahead for the government – although we need to work on a micro level. Gone are the days of running behind the trespassers with a mop to clean the dirt. So far, only carrots for the anti- environment elements! Now it is the turn of the stick. Here it goes – fine the spitters! They will take it seriously this way and eventually a fund raising opportunity for the government as well. We definitely can turn our cities, government offices like the MNCs that co-exist in India itself. The comparison is only to point out the co-existence that should enable the movement towards a better living. Member's CornerTouching life story..... A young man was getting ready to graduate college. For many months he had admired a beautiful sports car in a dealer's showroom, and knowing his father could well afford it, he told him that was all he wanted. As Graduation Day approached, the young man awaited signs that his father had purchased the car. Finally, on the morning of his graduation his father called him into his private study. His father told him how proud he was to have such a fine son, and told him how much he loved him. He handed his son a beautiful wrapped gift box. Curious, but somewhat disappointed the young man opened the box and found a lovely, leather-bound Bible. Angrily, he raised his voice at his father and said, "With all your money you give me a Bible?" and stormed out of the house, leaving the holy book. Many years passed and the young man was very successful in business. He had a beautiful home and wonderful family, but realized his father was very old, and thought perhaps he should go to him. He had not seen him since that graduation day. Before he could make arrangements, he received a telegram telling him his father had passed away, and willed all of his possessions to his son. He needed to come home immediately and take care things. When he arrived at his father's house, sudden sadness and regret filled his heart. He began to search his father's important papers and saw the still new Bible, just as he had left it years ago. With tears, he opened the Bible and began to turn the pages. As he read those words, a car key dropped from an envelope taped behind the Bible. It had a tag with the dealer's name, the same dealer who had the sports car he had desired. On the tag was the date of his graduation, and the words...PAID IN FULL. How many times do we miss God's blessings because they are not packaged as we expected..???
