Editor's Desk
Treasurer's DeskIt gives me great joy to share my thoughts in this edition of the MPF-Link. If considered otherwise, the role of a treasurer is mundane – account for the membership fees, prepare budget and allocate the funds across all the events. But, what pumps up the funds are the sponsorships and the savings done by conducting events prudently. And some good examples of smart fund management are events like Mahesh Gaurav & Global Community Project that were able to spare from the allocated budget; which in turn, were used by other projects. Believe me, it is not for money that anyone of us is here for. The real motivation and excitement is playing the game and living the events. The MPF members are striving hard to give 'better than before' experiences with every event. To enhance the socializing experiences for the in-house events, raising the membership fees was considered as a wise solution in the AGM. I would like to place on record my sincere thanks to all my BOD members for their unstinted support & guidance during the year. Also My thanks to all the members of Mahesh Professional Forum for their help to maintain the highest standards of the Organization. Looking ahead for a rocking 2017-18, MPF Treasurer (2016-17) CA Amol Marda Diwali Snehmilan
Picnic - Camp Night
AGMIt is rightly said that change is the only thing which is permanent in nature. Based on this philosophy of change and based on the initiative of ‘Digital India’ undertaken by Hon. Prime Minister of India Shri. Narendraji Modi(MeraDeshBadalRaha Hai, AageBadhRaha Hai), we in MPF made change from physical form to e-form / paperless wherever possible. Few examples relating to AGM are: - It was for the first time, we took Feedback & Suggestions from Members for betterment of our MPF through online form and there was very good response for the same. - It was for the first time, we took voting through the portal and due to the response & support of all members we could achieve a record of 83.44% voting (highest ever, so far in the history of MPF). - It was for the first time, formal event like AGM was clubbed with an informal event like Picnic and it was great success. Credit goes to Picnic Director Shri. Jayeshji Kalantri and entire Picnic & AGM Team. - It was for the first time, the event was organised for 2 days and 1 night stay at YMCA, Nilshi and with the help of support of all members who attended, witnessed and made the event more successful. Glimpse of AGM especially for those who could not attend AGM due to some reason: - Treasurer CA. Amolji Marda presented report for FY 2016-17 and the same was approved by all the members. - Feedback and Suggestions received from members were briefed by the Feedback & Suggestion Committee Chairman CA. Vimalji Karnani. - Felicitation of MPF members on their special achievements was also done during AGM. - Voting results of nomination committee were declared and the same followed by felicitation of newly elected committee. Details of the nomination committee are as under: 1. Mr. Rameshji Toshniwal 2. Mr. Omprakashji Marda 3. Dr.Navaniitji Mandhaani 4. Mr. Shrikantji Bangad 5. CA. Gopalji Jaju 6. CA. Ashishji Bihani 7.
